The Project Zante - Sal
Zones reflux island of Zakynthos. Exploratory monitoring and potential of artificial recharge to tackle the phenomenon ZANTE-SAL.
Objectives
- Understanding of the geological and hydrogeological conditions of the c. w. d.
- Understanding of the processes that lead to the creation of the phenomenon of υφαλμύρινσης and diagnosis of the evolution of the phenomenon
- Delimitation of the zones reflux
- Formulation of proposals for the protection or restoration of c. w. d.
Expected Results
- The optimization of the management of c. w. d. in terms of quality and quantity of water
- The best control and the routing of measures that will contribute positively to the improvement of the quality and quantity of water in the c. w. d.
- Cover of the measures Μ02Β0601 and Μ02Σ0801 of the RBMP of the aqueous compartment (FOD) EL02 for the c. w. d. of Zakynthos with the use of the deliverables of the project by the competent services
